DesignCAD,andcansavetoversionsasfarbackasDesignCAD97.
Youmayalsointerchangedrawingsbetweenthe2Dand3Dversions
ofDesignCAD.Youcan,forexample,takeacross-sectionofa
complexbeamwhichwascreatedinDesignCAD,loadthecross-
sectionintoDesignCAD3DMAX,andextrudeitintoabeam.Then
youcansavetheextrudedbeamasaDesignCAD3DMAXdrawing,even
withhiddenlinesremoved!Ifyouwanttogoastepfurther,you
canextrudeyourfloorplanintoanelevation,addaroof,and
saveaperspectiveviewbackintoDesignCAD2Dformat.

DesignCADimportsandexportsdrawingsinDWG,DXF,andHPGL
formats,andalsoreadsandwritesWindowsMetafiles.DesignCAD
canalsoexportWPG,RIBandWRLformats.Otherimportedformats
includeHPGLandXYZ.DesignCADcanpassdrawinginformationto
andfromtheClipboardandexportOLE2.0objectstoapplications
thatsupportthem.
